How to Volunteer
Volunteering is simple! Just use the form to let us know you want to join our merry band.
VBS runs from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, Monday through Friday nights. We are asking all volunteers to attend a training meeting on Sunday, August 6 at 6:30 pm.
If you can help, we also ask volunteers to stay for 15-30 minutes to help with tear-down on our final night.
1. Do I need to volunteer for all 5 nights?
No! We often have individuals who cannot attend for one or two nights. We can still use the help! Please indicate your availability on your form and our Volunteer Coordinator will help find you the best job.
2. What time do I need to arrive?
We ask volunteers to arrive at 6:30pm on Sunday, and by 6pm Monday through Friday.
3. Do I need to attend a training?
Yes please. We are trying something new this year: training will be on Sunday evening at 6:30pm. That way you don’t have to come another evening, and we are certain that everyone has the best information.
4. Where do I get a T-shirt?
We have T-shirts available for loan or purchase. We encourage volunteers to purchase a shirt in order to have one (or more!) that is the right size. We have a supply and can loan you one. We just ask that you return it at the end of the week.
5. What are the dates of the 2023 program?
VBS is August 7-11, 2023 from 6:30 – 8:30pm, with training for an hour on Sunday August 6 at 6:30 pm.
